How to Care for Your Heels
A good pair lasts longer when it is looked after. None of this takes much time.
Rotate your pairs
Give each pair a day to rest between wears. Leather needs time to dry and return to its shape.
Wipe after wearing
Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For marks, use a slightly damp cloth, then let the shoe dry naturally.
Keep them away from heat
Direct sun and radiators dry out leather and can change its color. Let wet shoes dry in open air, at room temperature.
Condition the leather
A neutral leather cream, applied sparingly with a soft cloth, keeps the surface supple. Test it first on a small hidden area.
Protect the heel
Check the heel tip from time to time. Replace it before it wears down to the base, because a worn tip affects balance.
Store with care
Keep each pair in its dust bag, in a cool and dry place. Fill the shoe with soft paper to help it hold its shape.
